Stamped Concrete

What is Stamped Concrete?

Stamped Concrete has decorative or natural impressions pressed into the surface with rubber stamps before the concrete hardens, making it the perfect paving choice for anyone wanting to add an artistic flair to their patios, pool decks, walkways, or driveways.
Easy to clean and very durable, stamped concrete comes in a variety of colours and patterns. With patterns designed to imitate slate, stone, brick, cobbles and even wooden designs, this low maintenance, resilient building material will make your project unique, matching your sense of style. Whether you are renovating your home or simply want to breathe new life into your place, stamped concrete will increase the value of your home, adding style and beauty that will last for many years to come.

The Benefits of Using Stamped Concrete

Older, more traditional paving options like bricks, pavers, and cobbles are vulnerable to a host of ongoing problems, including stains, weeds, and ground movement. Because of its solid structure, stamped concrete is resistant to these issues and also has very little impact on the environment in contrast with other building materials. Stamped concrete produces brilliant, eye-catching results that will stand the test of time.
Here at HD CONCRETE, our team of dedicated professionals understands that designing and laying stamped concrete is an intricate process, requiring specialists with experience and an attention to detail. When we place a stamped concrete job, we want to make sure that the end result is perfect every time!

We recommend installing stamped concrete with integrally coloured concrete. Our pigments are made from the highest quality ingredients, they are guaranteed to be light stable, weather resistant, and durable. We cannot guarantee an exact colour match for concrete poured at different times and consistency. If there is a particular project you like, a selection from the colour chart will be more accurate and provide the best results. With proper maintenance and sealing you will retain your concrete’s colour as well.  Although each ready-mix company works off their own colour charts Davis Colors has a great example of some of your options.
